

To get your pass, you must be registered for classes for academic credit at UW-Madison and be charged student segregated fees–in other words, you must have completed registration for at least one course, and you must be charged tuition and fees.

(The exception: We will be closed Monday, September 5 for the Labor Day holiday) We’ll be at the Box Office in the lobby of Union South–just down from the Daily Scoop and the Wiscard office–Monday through Friday from August 29-September 16, 10 am to 5 pm. StudentPrint is open 10 am-4 pm Monday through Friday, and the last day to pick up a new or replacement spring/summer pass will be August 19th.ĭistribution of Fall 2022 ASM bus passes will kickoff on Monday, August 29 at 10 am at Union South. More construction impacts coming this summer The closure will also impact Madison Metro Transit routes and cause Metro Transit and park and ride shuttle stop closures. It is recommended that vehicle traffic detour via Highland Avenue. Traffic lanes will be open in both directions during peak hours, but congestion and delays can be expected. Northern lanes along University Drive between Shorewood Hills and Campus Drive, and lanes on University Bay Drive, will close May 18 for a City of Madison construction project. Route 82 serving Walnut Street will detour. Vehicles may also access the School of Veterinary Medicine by traveling through Lot 59 from Observatory Drive. Vehicles traveling northbound on Walnut Street may turn right onto Linden Drive from Walnut Street. Traffic heading south toward University Avenue can use Highland Avenue as a detour route during this closure. The southbound lane of Walnut Street is closing between the Observatory Drive roundabout and the West Campus Cogeneration Facility for construction work expected to last through the summer. The northbound lane will remain closed due to additional construction work, with a full reopening date to be determined. The southbound lane of Charter Street will reopen in early June. Visit the Madison Metro website for details and a map. Detours may change throughout the summer. Stops on Charter Street, Linden Drive, Babcock Drive, and eastbound Observatory Drive will be closed.
